A creative wedding venue in Warburton, made for ceremony, dinner and celebration
Our Venue
Projekt 3488 is a creative wedding venue in Warburton, a lush mountain town in the Yarra Valley, just over an hour from Melbourne.
Set inside a reimagined Masonic Lodge, the venue brings together industrial architecture, layered interiors, sculptural gardens and a sense of celebration that builds as the day unfolds.
It’s a space for meaningful ceremonies, long table feasts, cocktails on the deck, conversations that spill upstairs and a dance floor that feels like a proper finale.
A little unexpected. Deeply personal. Full of atmosphere.
Our Hall
Where the big moments happen
The hall is the heartbeat of Projekt 3488.
Long suspended banquet tables bring everyone together for dinner, with candlelight, artworks and a mirrored wall adding depth and movement to the room. At the centre, the circular architectural light travels through the atrium, illuminating both levels and linking the Hall with the Gallery Lounge above.
A sculptural light ring sparkles with suspended crystals and a floating disco ball, hover over what will become the dance floor. An elegant spiral staircase curves behind, tying the levels together.
During shared feasts, long banquet tables bring guests closer — filled with laughter, conversation and a sense of connection.
For cocktail-style ceremonies, the room transforms into a theatre-like setting: the couple stands under the atrium, while guests gather around on tiered seating.
The Transformation
From dinner to dance floor
Depending on guest numbers, the hall can be set with one, two or three banquet tables — always arranged to maintain a feeling of closeness. After dining, guests head upstairs for drinks, dessert and conversation while the team transitions the room.
The tables roll to the sides and become tiered seating; lighting shifts from ambient to moody; and the centre becomes the dance floor. What felt warm and communal becomes electric — with nightclub-quality sound, layered lighting and the disco ball catching movement from every angle.
For something unforgettable, the optional petal drop releases petals from above: a joyful, cinematic moment for a first kiss, a final dance or a celebration that deserves a little extra magic.
Our Garden
Lush, layered and alive with the seasons
The garden shapes the feeling of Projekt 3488 from the moment guests arrive.
Planted after the 2009 Black Saturday fires, it was designed around renewal, contrast and growth. Grass trees, snow gums, flowering natives and sculptural foliage sit among ponds, boardwalks and quiet places to pause.
Projekt 3488 sits low in the Warburton valley, with mountains and forest rising on both sides, making the garden feel like it is endless. The Yarra River flows clean and clear through the town nearby, and the whole area has that lush, green, deeply alive feeling Warburton is loved for.
In the evenings, festoon lights glimmer above the pathways, the fire pit glows, and the garden shifts into something even more atmospheric. It’s a fully sensory experience — layered with the sound of frogs calling, the stream flowing along the property’s edge, and the scent of eucalyptus carried on the mountain air.
Nature isn’t just a backdrop here. It’s part of the atmosphere — intimate, immersive and woven into the way the whole celebration feels.
Our Treetop Deck
Ceremony, cocktails and mountain air
Perched among the treetops and overlooking the garden, Mt Bride and the Yarra Ranges beyond, the Treetop Deck is one of our most popular ceremony spots.
At one end, the barn-style timber doors open wide to frame your arrival, with the soft glow of a circular feature light behind you.
The upstairs bar is tucked neatly into one end of the deck, keeping things close but unobtrusive. As night falls, the festoon lighting takes over — and the deck becomes a soft, glowing transition between indoors and out.
Our Gallery Lounge
Social, layered and full of personality
The Gallery Lounge is where the celebration spreads out.
Upstairs, guests gather at the bar, move between the deck and lounge seating, and explore the vintage cabinetry, collected objects and curiosities throughout the room. Ottomans, leather sofas and warm timber create pockets to sit, lean in and properly catch up.
The suspended fireplace gives the room warmth and presence, while the circular atrium offers glimpses down into the Hall below.
It’s relaxed, expressive and full of character — a space for cocktail hour, speeches, dessert, quiet conversations and the happy anticipation of what comes next.
Our Details
Intentional touches, everywhere you look
It’s often the smaller things that guests remember — the way the lighting shifts at dusk, the texture of the handmade surfaces, or the vintage glass tucked into a quiet corner.
Every finish, object and material has been chosen with care — not just to look good, but to feel right.
This is design with story, and a space that rewards curiosity.
